Literary Translation

I love to translate novels, as well as articles and papers of a rather literary character (fiction and non-fiction).

I have always liked to write prose myself, and I have the same creativity when it comes to translation.

Welcome!

My name is Carl-Henrik Hammarlund, and I am a qualified translator to Swedish from English. Occasionally I can also take on translation from Danish and Norwegian.

I have vast experience in translating and proofreading specialized texts from various subject fields, as well as a big interest in working with literature.

I work on a freelance basis. The programs I prefer to use are Trados Studio and occasionally MemoQ.
